Usage & Packaging Instructions
1. Application Scope
This series of feed-grade plant extracts is specially designed for livestock, poultry, aquatic animals, and other breeding industries. It can be used as a natural feed additive to replace or supplement traditional chemical additives, improving animal health, growth performance, and product quality.
2. Dosage Guidelines
The recommended dosage varies by extract type, animal species, growth stage, and breeding purpose. For specific application, please refer to the following general guidelines or consult our technical team for customized solutions:
- Antibacterial Extracts (Garlic Extract, Cinnamon Extract, Oregano Extract, etc.): Add 0.1%-0.5% to the total feed weight. Suitable for improving intestinal health and reducing the risk of bacterial infections in young and fattening animals.
- Antioxidant Extracts (Tea Polyphenol Extract, Rosemary Extract, Grape Seed Extract, etc.): Add 0.05%-0.2% to the total feed weight. It can inhibit lipid oxidation in feed, extend feed shelf life, and enhance animal antioxidant capacity.
- Immune Modulators (Astragalus Extract, Ganoderma Lucidum Extract, Epimedium Extract, etc.): Add 0.2%-1.0% to the total feed weight. Recommended for breeding animals and animals in stress periods (such as transportation, vaccination) to enhance non-specific immunity.
- Growth & Digestion Promoters (Hawthorn Extract, Dried Orange Peel Extract, Medicated Leaven Extract, etc.): Add 0.3%-1.2% to the total feed weight. Suitable for young animals with poor digestion to promote gastric secretion and improve feed conversion rate.
3. Usage Methods
- Pre-mixing: First mix the extract with a small amount of carrier (such as corn flour, wheat bran) in a ratio of 1:10 to 1:20 to make a premix, ensuring uniform dispersion.
- Total Mixing: Add the premix to the total feed and stir thoroughly using a feed mixer for at least 5-10 minutes until evenly mixed.
- Precautions: Avoid direct contact with strong acids, alkalis, and oxidants; use the prepared feed within the shelf life to prevent nutrient loss.
4. Storage Conditions
Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated warehouse, away from direct sunlight, high temperature (above 30℃), and moisture. Keep sealed after opening to prevent absorption of moisture and odors. The shelf life is 24 months from the production date under proper storage conditions.
5. Standard Packaging
To ensure product quality and convenient transportation, we adopt two levels of packaging, which comply with international feed additive packaging standards and EU import requirements:
- Inner Packaging: Food-grade polyethylene (PE) bags with heat-sealing technology to prevent moisture and leakage. Each inner bag is labeled with product name, batch number, production date, net weight, and usage precautions.
- Outer Packaging:
- 25kg/bag: Corrugated cartons or kraft paper bags with plastic liners, lightweight and easy to handle, suitable for small-batch orders.
- 25kg/drum: Food-grade plastic drums or stainless steel drums with sealed lids, shockproof and pressure-resistant, suitable for large-batch transportation and long-distance shipping.
6. Customized Packaging & Transportation
We provide customized packaging services according to customer needs, including adjusting net weight (1kg, 5kg, 10kg, etc.), printing brand logos, and adding multilingual labels. Please confirm the customization requirements before placing an order.
Transport as general feed additives, avoiding mixing with toxic, harmful, and odorous substances. Prevent extrusion, collision, rain, and sun exposure during transportation. Comply with the transportation regulations of the destination country/region, and provide relevant certificates (COA, MSDS) as required.
7. Quality Assurance
Each batch of products is accompanied by a Certificate of Analysis (COA) to confirm that the specifications meet the feed-grade standards. The packaging is designed to minimize product loss and quality changes during storage and transportation. If there is any damage to the packaging or quality problems, please contact us immediately upon receipt.
